This
family has an abundance of chocolate cereals, all of which I think are the best
thing that could ever happen to a breakfast. I learned that the girls don’t
like them! Claudia likes one of them, so I asked her what type of milk she
wanted, she held up ‘drinking yogurt.’ She had me try it and I thought it had
gone bad, REALLY bad, but I guess that’s just how it tastes. This is the first
food I’ve tried that I haven’t liked. I can’t believe the girls eat it with
cereal! Ech.
I spent my free time in Madrid. I have to say, the metro in the city center is pretty nifty, much better than the metro that goes out to Pozuelo. In my explorations today I was hardly ever lost! Progress. :) Biblioteca
Nacional is a huge building, with only a little area as a museum featuring the
history of the Bible. It was still cool. It took me a while to read and understand
all the exhibits. The surrounding area is full of amazing architecture. I
walked through the streets and then through Puerta Del Sol, Plaza Isabel, and
Plaza Mayor taking random pictures. These areas are very touristy, it was fun. Madrid is
such a gem.
Definite
progress with Hugo. He called for me as soon as he got home from school, and
asked to play with me all evening. We had fun. I showed him on my watch what
time he had to take a bath, and he agreed. When the time actually came, Mr.
Hyde came out and I was smacked in the face and called stupid. He let me dress
him without much of a fight, so I’m very happy with the progress today.
