Day 16

I felt just a little queasy after leaving the Plaza de Toros. When on earth did I get so sensitive? It was interesting to go to the little museum and read about these matadors and see some of the heads of bulls that killed or were killed in a bullfight. That’s got to be a heck of a way to live. It must also take a serious man to want to be involved in such a deadly sport that still requires such elegance…and such girly, sparkly attire. It was an interesting and different visit than what I’ve seen so far, I enjoyed it.
After that visit, I walked through some of the jardines in Retiro. This park is HUGE, I still have yet to see all of it, but it’s a beautiful place to chill, people watch and read.
Hugo and I had some good moments playing in the urba. I have fun watching the kids in the community with a soccer ball. These kids have skills, and they're super nice to Hugo. Maybe by the end of my time here he won’t think I’m a bad girl.
