I convinced myself that after several years of putting it off, today was the day to buy a new swimsuit, as the one I brought simply can't go on another day.
Well, it’s next to
impossible to find a modest swimsuit here, and I’m still confused about my
European sizes. With all the sales going on, I finally found a decent one for
cheap. I didn’t realize until after I bought it that it’s maternity. . .
oops. One humbling experience after another here. :p
Work was easy today. I got my hair done about eight
different ways by Claudia while we quizzed each other with Spanish-English
words. Hugo was sweet and said that he doesn’t want me to leave. Hugo and I played
soccer while the girls rode horses until the pony club teacher nicely told me
that soccer was forbidden in the area with the ponies. We weren’t anywhere near
them, but we relocated to a distant patch of grass, soccer is cool in that way. Later I did see the 'no soccer' sign outside the precious area--only in Spain. :) It was late, but we went to the urba for a while to socialize with the
neighbors. I really do love this community. Hugo had a meltdown when Elena came
down and said it was time to go back to the flat for dinner. He told her that
he wanted to leave me in the urba for the night, lol. Life is beautiful, so crazy I
will be home and dancing in one week!
